United States-based manufacturer Cessna, a subsidiary of the Providence, Rhode Island-based Textron Corporation, has long been known as a leader in private jet, turboprop, and piston-powered aircraft manufacturing. The company is responsible for developing and continued production of many popular aircraft, including the Cessna 172, a light utility aircraft of which over 44,00 units have rolled off Cessna assembly lines throughout the decades.
