Cessna CJ1+ Crash In Brazil Leaves One Dead

On Thursday, January 9th, a light business jet reportedly crashed after losing control while attempting to land in Ubatuba, Brazil. The aircraft reportedly attempted to land at Gastao Madeira State Airport (UBT) in Ubatuba, São Paulo State, Brazil. The small private jet, which was a business jet in the Cessna CitationJet family, had approximately five total occupants. The pilot has reportedly died in the accident, with the four other passengers transported to the hospital. Several other pedestrians on the ground were also injured in the incident.
