Air New Zealand Airbus A321neo Aborts Take Off After Bird Strike

The crisis management people at Air New Zealand are busier than they would like to be, dealing with an aircraft security issue last Friday and today, an aborted take-off following a bird strike in Christchurch. This morning, an Air New Zealand jet was well advanced in its take-off when it was struck by an unknown number of birds, forcing the pilots to reject the take-off and bring the aircraft to a safe stop on the runway.
