The aviation industry is heavily regulated, with airlines required to follow strict maintenance programs overseen by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the United States. Each airline must establish a Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program, which includes routine inspections, known as “checks,” to ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness.
