It has been just over four years since Korean Air announced its intent to takeover fellow Korean carrier, Asiana Airlines. It has taken those intervening four years to secure all the regulatory approvals, but today, Korean Air has announced it has finally completed the acquisition of Asian Airlines, a process started on November 16, 2020.
