For travelers, competition is wonderful, and it took a while to ramp up after airlines emerged from the pandemic lockdowns. Recently, Virgin Australia announced it intends to launch 28 weekly nonstop services from Australia to Qatar using Qatar Airways wet-leased aircraft, and today, Emirates has adjusted its schedules to cut a one-stop service via Singapore and replace it with another nonstop flight between Melbourne and Dubai.
