Ericsson to upgrade Malaysia with 5G Advanced

Nokia has confirmed reports that it is partnering with Foxconn to manufacture its 5G AirScale equipment at Foxconn’s factory in Vietnam.

Data from Dell’Oro Group showed Huawei was the leading telecom equipment vendor by revenue in 2023, but the overall market had contracted 5% year-on-year, snapping five years of consecutive growth. 

Indian communications service provider Vodafone Idea (Vi) has strengthened its longstanding network partnership with Ericsson through the award of major 4G and 5G contracts which, Ericsson says, will see the tech giant extend its network share.
