Paradise Mobile taps iBASIS for global reach

Malaysian telco Maxis says it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Mobile International (CMI) to collaborate on exploring and developing private 5G applications and solutions for enterprises.

State-owned operator Ethio Telecom has officially expanded its commercial 5G network in southern Ethiopia, as the operator continues to deploy fifth-generation technology.

Veon welcomed a letter from shareholder Shah Capital, which criticised the operator’s board for poor stock price performance, and agreed there is potential for improvement.
