Delta Air Lines Sees Strong Demand For Eclipse Flights And Adds A Second

Delta Air Lines' seats onboard its popular 'Eclipse' Flight, scheduled for April 8th, were quickly sold out. The carrier soon added an extra service where budding astronomers can catch a glimpse of the eclipse at 30,000ft. Initially, Delta planned to operate just one eclipse-viewing flight to depart from Austin to Detroit on April 8th onboard an Airbus A220-300. However, after the service sold out in under 24 hours, the airline proposed an extra service with a larger aircraft.
