Charles Rolls: The Rolls-Royce Co-Founder Was Also The First British Air Fatality In A Wright Flyer

Charles Rolls, co-founder of Rolls-Royce, is one of the most interesting pioneers in aviation. He was also one of the first people to be killed in an aviation accident – by the legendary Wright Flyer no less. His untimely death meant he would have little input into the development of the company that still bears his name – although he accomplished a number of firsts in aviation and British history before his death.
