The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating after a Boeing 737-800 operated by 
American Airlines entered prohibited airspace over Washington DC earlier this week without authorization. The incident occurred just seconds after the aircraft departed from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA).
