Guillaume Faury, the chief executive of Airbus, has been hopeful that while deliveries of aircraft engines, particularly the CFM International LEAP-1A, one of the two options for the A320neo aircraft family, has been tight, the situation should improve and enable the manufacturer to hit its 770 aircraft delivery target at the end of 2024.
