Australia Cancels Lockheed Martin Military GEO Satellite In Favor Of Multi-Orbit Capabilities

Australia has decided not to proceed with the planned procurement of a Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) satellite (which Lockheed Martin Australia would have built). This comes amid a rapidly changing space domain facing new and emerging threats as well as the rapid development of new technologies.
