Croatian operator Hrvatski Telekom (HT) has partnered with Nokia to launch projects aimed at connecting developers to Nokia’s coding platform to foster the creation of new consumer and industrial 5G applications.
Malaysia’s special purpose company for 5G deployment Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) partnered with Ericsson to boost digitalisation in the country, with microchip giant Intel also involved.
Nokia announced another deal in Vietnam, this time with Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) to supply equipment for the operator’s 5G rollout.
The financial difficulties faced by tech giant Intel seem likely to hit its operations in a number of regions, including Poland and Malaysia, with delays likely for chip-related operations in both countries.
