This time last year, Australia’s flag carrier Qantas was in turmoil, struggling to recover from a string of missteps, illegal marketing activity and the early departure of its former CEO Alan Joyce. Today, under new CEO Vanessa Hudson, the airline is thriving by adding new aircraft, training facilities and new international routes, such as a new service between Brisbane and Manila in the Philippines.
