EA-18G Growler Noise Neighbor Complaint On NAS Whidbey Island Goes To Federal Court Of Appeals

The US Department of the Navy ( US Navy) and the noise agitation group Citizens of Ebeys Reserve (COER) have appealed lower court decisions about the future of NAS Whidbey Island to the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. In mediation questionnaires filed with the Court of Appeals regarding case #24-6357, the Navy desires to reverse the lower courts decisions. Also, COER seeks to vacate the Navys 2019 Record of Decision on EA-18G Growler basing plus flight operations based on the 2019 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
