China’s Shenzhou-19 Successfully Delivers Astronauts To Chinese Space Station Amid Planned 2030 Moon Mission

China’s Shenzhou-19 has successfully delivered three Chinese astronauts to the Tiangong space station also called the China Space Station (the Chinese counterpart to the International Space Station). The docking follows the successful launch of the Shenzhou-19 atop the Long March-2F carrier rocket (which blasted off on Wednesday from China’s Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center). While the capsule may still lag behind SpaceX’s Dragon 2, it has proven more successful than Boeing’s troubled Starliner that had to return to Earth without its crew.
