ABC chair Kim Williams is flagging a ‘cultural renewal’ for the taxpayer-funded broadcaster in coming months, after a dramatic fall in its TV and radio audiences.
Interstate return airfares to and from Darwin can cost up to $1,500, ABC’s Stateline reported this week, with customers reporting high prices even when booking half a year in advance. Both major airlines have denied they are gouging passengers.
Held at RAAF Base Richmond over the weekend, the event attracted around 80,000 people, and featured both static and aerial displays such as the F-35A Lightning II, F/A-18F Super Hornet, E-7A Wedgetail, P-8 Poseidon, and 100 Squadron’s heritage aircraft.
