For the first time in over 25 years, Norfolk International Airport (ORF) is embarking on a significant construction project to improve and expand the airport and improve its facilities. On Monday, June 10, 2024, airport management, city leaders, and state officials put their shovels into the dirt to celebrate a $1 billion improvement plan to enlarge and modify the Virginia Coast airport.
