Canadian ultra-low-cost carrier Lynx Air has succumbed to financial strain and market pressure and decided to end operations. The airline will operate its last flight on Sunday and will cease operations after that. The budget carrier started operations two years ago, and its demise is another example of just how ruthless the airline industry can be.
