Today, new Qantas CEO Vanessa Hudson made her results debut as she presented the Qantas Group returns for the first half of its financial year 2024 (FY24), covering the period from July 1 until December 31, 2023 (1H24). The news was not great as statutory profit fell by 13% Year-on-Year from AU$1 billion ($660m) to AU$869 million ($574m), despite revenue increasing by 12% to AU$11.13 billion ($7.34b).
