Flights originating from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) on Saturday were believed to have no catering onboard due to an alleged surprise food inspection. According to passengers, 
American Airlines, 
Delta Air Lines, and 
United Airlines were affected after the inspection failed.
