Lockheed Martin announced on Wednesday it has named Chauncey McIntosh as vice president and general manager of the F-35 Lightning II program. The decision takes effect on December 1st after the current head of the program steps down. The F-35 fifth-generation stealth fighter is the United States’ flagship fighter program and is part of a larger international effort of countries contributing to its design and manufacture.
