Reports have emerged on Russian Telegram channels that the Russian Air Force has lost another Sukhoi Su-34 fighter-bomber – the mainstay of the Russian fighter jet fleet. However, reports this time come with a twist, with at least one Russian Telegram channel saying a Ukrainian F-16 Fighting Falcon shot it down. This is a breaking news story, and for now, it remains unconfirmed. If the legacy retired light multirole F-16 managed to shoot down one of Russia’s newest and most capable fighter jets, that would be significant.
