As Northern California’s most prominent and busiest airport, San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is a gateway from the Bay Area to the world. The airport is one of the few worldwide with two sets of parallel intersecting runways and boasts wonderful terminal and ramp views. Few other airports offer consistently visible parallel approaches and departures all day long. San Francisco is also one of the largest international gateways in the United States.

It truly varies from airline to airline, but most sources say that carriers will refurbish their cabins between 5 and 10 years. This past year and going into 2025, there have been quite a few airlines announcing beautiful new interiors for their jets. These are either new cabins being refurbished on older jets, or brand new designs for new, incoming aircraft types – or perhaps even both.
