Nokia dishes details on 4G/5G contract deal with Vodafone Idea

Nokia has announced that it is further strengthening its partnership with 4G and 5G network-as-a-service (NaaS) operator Next-Gen InfraCo (NGIC) by building a 5G mobile core network.

Nokia announced on Monday it has signed a deal with Vodafone Qatar to lead a nationwide network modernisation project to drive expanded 5G coverage, reliability and services for consumers and businesses.

Smartcom, a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in Singapore, says it is expanding its reach beyond its home country into Indonesia bringing its mission-critical push-to-talk (PTT) solutions to a significantly larger market.
