Avanti West Coast and Network Rail have revealed plans and to create a new ticket office and first-class lounge at Glasgow Central station this autumn.
A signalling fault in the Carstairs area has blocked all lines, with Avanti West Coast and TransPennine Express advising passengers of delays and cancellations.
