Aerospace companies are always looking for new technologies to make commercial aviation more sustainable and cost-effective. Among the things being tested currently is CFMs new open-rotor tech, which is expected to be more fuel-efficient and deliver better economics. While theres some optimism around it, it seems that leaders of aircraft manufacturers need more evidence to be fully convinced.
