In February, Chiltern Railway is to host a special train journey to bid farewell to its Mark III coaches, which date back to the era of British Rail. The trip will also raise money for the charity Railway Children.
To celebrate 50 years since D1015 Western Champion hauled its last trains for BR, on 23rd May it will haul a special rail tour from Birmingham to Plymouth.
Chiltern Railways are offering tickets at discounted rates for Friday travel throughout September.
