The aircraft from the US Air Force’s 509th Bomb Wing and 131st Bomb Wing flew from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri to Australia earlier this month on August 16.
The aircraft, registered A9-186, was originally reported missing in Papua New Guinea in 1943 but later discovered in 2020, with divers braving 43 meters of water to reach the aircraft.
The way you board on a major Australian airline is being shaken up, with the overhaul tipped to cut queue time and get you in your seat and in the air faster.
