Atlanta-based 
Delta Air Lines will be offering a new transcontinental route this winter. Beginning in December, the carrier will commence nonstop flights between its hub at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York and Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) in Southern California.
