Restoration of steam locomotive 563 rewarded with two national awards

Update on restoration of T9 Class steam locomotive No. 120

The Swanage Railway Trust, 563 Locomotive Group, has issued an update on progress with plans to restore LSWR T9 Class 4-4-0 No. 120.

The 563 Locomotive Group has given an end-of-year update on how T3 Class No. 563 has performed since returning to operational service.

Swanage Railway volunteers are raising funds to restore London and South Western Railway T9 Class No. 120 in time for its 130th Birthday in 2029.
