Operation Looking Glass was a mission started in February 1961 by the Strategic Air Command (SAC), a United States Air Force (USAF) major command responsible for the control of bombers, missiles, and nuclear forces between 1946 and 1992. The SAC used the Boeing EC-135C four-engine aircraft for the mission.
