The information was released under the government’s multibillion-dollar 2026 National Defence Strategy and a revamped Integrated Investment Program, and comes as the Government has pledged at least $34 billion to the RAAF over the next decade.

The funding will “enable Air Force to undertake expeditionary air operations to project force, sustain protracted combat operations and maintain situational awareness in our primary air of military interest”, the Government says.
