It almost seems a nightly occurrence to watch a TV news report detailing another aviation mishap, particularly if a Boeing aircraft happens to be involved. Yesterday it was an Airbus A320 that made the news in Australia when a Jetstar Airbus A320 aircraft aborted a take-off from Melbourne Airport after an underside latch was left open.
