Vueling is a rather strange airline. The carrier operates a dynamic low-cost model, serving destinations across Europe with flights that offer prices significantly lower than those of budget airlines. However, the carrier, from a management perspective, is not run the way a low-cost carrier is. Rather, it is managed by the International Airlines Group (IAG), a conglomerate that owns and operates multiple European legacy airlines.
