Swanage Railway has announced the six locomotives which will star in its three-day Autumn Steam Gala from Friday 12 September to Sunday 14 September 2025.
A heritage diesel service, ‘Sunset Shuttle’, is being launched by Swanage Railway volunteers and will connect Swanage, Herston Halt, Harman’s Cross and Corfe Castle.
A plaque and memorial have been unveiled at Herston Halt to honour the contributions that the Royal Corps of Signals made to the Swanage Railway over the past 40 years.
From Monday the 19th to Friday the 23rd of May, volunteers from Swanage Railway will be hosting an information and recruitment stand at Waterloo Station.
