Three of the combat utility helicopters have been transferred to the Army Aviation Training Centre in Oakey, establishing the Army’s second UH-60M Black Hawk operating node.
The trial, which initially included 38 routes between Australian/New Zealand and Indonesian/Singaporean airspace, will be extended to include the national air navigation service providers of Papua New Guinea and Fiji, as well as three additional airlines.
Held on 30 June, the “Come Fly With Me” program saw 35 Year 10 and 11 students from Western Sydney participate in workshops at Amadeus’ lab, including robotics, 3D printing, and applications for technology in the aviation industry.
In an update on the ASX, the Flying Kangaroo said it was still working to validate the individual and added it had also engaged the Australian Federal Police.
