KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has taken over the route from Delta Air Lines and will operate it using the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Since the 1990s, KLM has synced up the Delft Blue Houses with its birthday, which is on October 7.

Air France, KLM, and British Airways have raised their concerns that the directive will introduce fatigue-related safety risks.

KLM’s chief executive admitted that the new Delft Blue House was introduced during a challenging time for the Dutch airline.

KLM has previously said that due to its inability to use Russian airspace, its Asian network would remain the same compared to the previous winter.

The carrier operated these special jets for over a decade.

KLM estimated that these measures should improve its operating result by 450 million ($496.8 million).

In total, KLM will now serve 12 destinations in the United States during the upcoming winter season.

KLM’s longest nonstop routes include flights from its base at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) to South America and Southeast Asia.
