Inside Emirates’ Brand New Airbus A350-900

Emirates said that following the initial batch of Airbus A350-900, it will be taking deliveries of ultra-long-range (ULR) variants of the aircraft.

Emirates was supposed to take delivery of its first Airbus A350-900 in August. Services with the type should begin in January 2025.

The airline has a fleet of 35 Airbus A350-900s, which it uses on routes from Paris to the US.

The aircraft, which Airbus delivered on October 16, was Lufthansa’s fourth A350-900 delivery in 2024.

Air France previously operated the route between June 2011 and August 2012.

The carrier will utilize two aircraft types, offering over 137,000 seats next month.
