There have been various big changes to quadjet operations recently.

The carrier has removed the variant’s winter flights to New York JFK.

Lufthansa will use the 747-400, 747-8i (briefly), A340-300, A340-600, and A380 to Boston this year.

All of these aircraft have operated in excess of 144,000 flight hours!

During the summer season in 2025, Lufthansa has scheduled its Boeing 747-400s to several destinations, including New York-JFK.

The aircraft is owned and operated by Atlas Air, but was previously owned by a carrier based in Asia.
