Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East is powering ahead, with the $1.7 billion contract awarded to build the northern section of twin tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill.
Reopening the Tennyson line to passengers “would be very useful” to connect those living outside of the city centre, according to RAIL Back On Track spokesperson Robert Dow.
Passengers can now track the location of buses, view estimated arrival times at specific stops, see information about how full services are and find accessible buses.
