Dreams have come true for Maribyrnong residents who have been campaigning for truck monitoring for more than eight years, following last week’s state budget.
Our hard won curfews are unfortunately being blatantly ignored, with hundreds of truck drivers using local streets at nights, weekends and during school crossing times.
If the state government does not have 24/7 monitoring ready for day one of the Tunnel opening in late 2025, it will fail our community and be a hollow promise.
