Zambia has completed the construction of a ground receiving station which it says will pave the way for the launch of the country’s long-awaited first satellite.

General insurance provider Tata AIG has launched what it calls its Satellite In-Orbit Third-Party Liability Insurance policy for satellite manufacturers and operators in the Indian space industry – a first, it seems, for Indian insurance provision.

Ukrainian operator Kyivstar is set to become one of the first European carriers to launch direct-to-cell (D2C) satellite communication services through a partnership with Starlink.
