Vodafone Idea reveals vRAN trials with Samsung in Chennai

As the telecoms industry hurtles towards the digital world, demand is already growing for emerging bandwidth-intensive applications and services such as artificial intelligence (AI).

During MWC Barcelona 2025, the World Broadband Association (WBBA) hosted an industry summit themed “Smarter Broadband: Investment. Innovation. Intelligence.”

On Day 2 of the Global MBB Forum 2024, Yang Chaobin, Huawei’s Board Member and President of ICT Products and Solutions, opened the keynote speech with the declaration that the mobile AI era is roaring in.
