NeutraDC Nxera Batam starts work on AI hyperscale data centre

Global internet backbone and data services provider Arelion and Latin American network provider Gold Data have announced a strategic partnership to leverage dark fibre infrastructure.

Cameroon-based cloud services provider ST Digital has launched GPU Cloud Africa, a GPU-as-a-service (GPUaaS) offering that aims to provide African businesses and institutions with access to Nvidia GPUs to develop AI applications.

MTN Nigeria officially launched the first phase of its US$235 million data centre in Lagos on Tuesday, along with a cloud service to compete against the likes of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft and Google.
