SJ restores direct Stockholm–Narvik night trains and expands winter travel options

The project represents a total investment of around EUR 5.3 bn (MXN 100 bn) and enables end-to-end journeys of under 60 minutes.

The planned procurement will cover inter-voivodeship and international passenger connections in Poland after 2030, not the purchase of rolling stock or infrastructure works.

PKP Intercity is moving away from a system built around individual train services towards a network of regular, easily recognisable routes.
