Yiwu-Europe trains pass 100,000 TEUs in exports in 2026

TRAIX-branded locomotives will enter service on a new freight connection between Dunkirk and Lyon on 3 September 2026. The service will run three rotations per week between the northern French coast and the Rhône Valley.

The trial increased freight capacity by over 300 tonnes per train by utilizing Class D infrastructure standards.

The short line expects to handle inbound steel plate and slab traffic as well as outbound finished components.
