GBRf puts Class 99 into commercial intermodal service

The acceptance took place at the manufacturer’s site, where Evonik representatives inspected the vehicles prior to entry into service.

The contract covers rail freight movements across Germany, Italy, France and the Benelux region.

EU negotiations on military mobility are set to begin in September, with rail capacity, intermodal wagons and dual-use terminals among the issues on the table.
