In an interview with RAILMARKET.com, Radim Ječný, the new Chairman of the Board of ČD Cargo, says the company expects to return to a modest profit in 2026 following the reduction of surplus capacity. He outlines plans to retain around half of the Czech market, pursue growth opportunities in both traditional commodity flows and intermodal transport, and secure public support for loss-making single-wagonload services.
